การ ศึกษาสุภาษิต-คำคมภาษาอังกฤษ จะทำให้เราทราบความหมายของสุภาษิต-คำคมนั้น ได้รับความรู้เรื่องคำศัพท์ อีกทั้งยังได้เรียนรู้ความเชื่อ ค่านิยมและวัฒนธรรมเจ้าของภาษาที่สอดแทรกอยู่ ประโยชน์สูงสุดคือการมีคุณธรรมและจริยธรรมที่ดีจากสุภาษิต-คำคม ซึ่งสามารถนำไปใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันได้ ซึ่งผู้จัดทำได้รวบรวมไว้ดังนี้
1. An accident  is due to lack of proper care. =  อุบัติเหตุมักจะเกิดขึ้นจากการขาดความระมัดระวัง
2. Don’t charge your memory with  too many facts = อย่าใช้สมองจดจำเรื่องราวต่าง ๆ ให้มากจนเกินไป
3. A   mad  man is not responsible  for his actions. =  คนบ้าไม่ต้องรับผิดชอบในการกระทำของเขา

11. It  is a foolish sheep  that makes.   The wolf  his confessor. =   อย่าชี้โพรงให้กระรอก

13. Good manners are part and parcel of a good education. = กิริยามารยาทที่สุภาพเรียบร้อย  เป็นส่วนสำคัญจากการได้รับการศึกษาดี

19. Guardianship has many responsibillitie. = การเป็นผู้ปกครองนั้นต้องมีความรับผิดชอบมาก
20. A friend in need is a friend indeed = เพื่อนแท้คือเพื่อนในยามยาก
21. Birds of a feather flock together = คบคนพาล พาลพาไปหาผิด
22. Actions speak louder than words =  ทำดีกว่าพูด

46. Prevention is better than cure = กันไว้ดีกว่าแก้
47. Do as Romans do when you are in Rome = จงทำตัวให้เหมือนคนโรมันเมื่ออยู่ในกรุงโรม....
หรือ เข้าเมืองตาหลิ่วต้องหลิ่วตาตาม
48. Joy and sorrow are as near as today and tomorrow. = ความสุขกับความทุกข์อยู่ใกล้กันเหมือนวันนี้กับวันพรุ่งนี้

จะไม่รู้ว่าความหวานชื่นคืออะไร
50. One who lives in a glasshouse should not throw stones. = เมื่ออยู่ในเรือนกระจกไม่ควรขว้างก้อนหิน
หมายถึงเมื่ออยู่ในที่ๆ เสีบเปรียบก็อย่าหาเรื่องผู้อื่น
